We performed an emergency remediation to a shower base failure on a low budget. Client wanted to save shower from full demolition, and could not fund moving the drain to center. We removed all the failed tile at the base, removed the existing substrate, rotted lumber, mold, and re built the base only from scratch with a new water tight seal and improved measured and the best we could find within low budget to match tile to re create a custom sloped base to the off centered drain, and improvise a border from a different tile.
